Cash Sale (Retail)

Cash Sale function is a simple step to capture an open sale or walk in sale. The cash sale function is similar to Walk In function under the Transaction menu. The different is the steps. In Cash Sale, we have removed 3 steps to make it simpler such as no need to enter reference at the beginning, at the total price, no need to enter cash received and lastly, we make it at front after press F2, instead of to press Transaction menu first.

The cash sale function is suitable for those who don't need to use the reference and don't need to know the change (i.e. cash receives - bill value). If merchant want those 2, please use Walk In function in the Transaction menu.

1. To begin, press F2

2. Select Cash Sale - L1

3.  On the next screen, enter the product code the customer is buying (for example 001 - Coke). To confirm, press Enter for this product.

4. Enter the Quantity bought. Then, press Enter.

5a. The terminal will display the standard price. If it is sold at a standard price, press Enter.

5b. Otherwise, if you want to sell at a different price, please delete the price using the backspace arrow and then enter the sale price. Press Enter.

6. Terminal will show item entered. If confirm, press Enter. If not, press Cancel.

7. Repeat step 3 for the next product (if customer buy more than 1 product).

8. If no more product, press Enter. The next screen will display the Total item and value bought. You can scroll through this to confirm the bill by pressing # to scroll down or * to scroll up. If all billing is ok, press Enter to confirm.

9. On the next screen, when the Red light appears, please touch the Staff Card / Key Chain to print receipt & record the sale.

10. Then, the terminal will print the receipt (Customer's Copy).

11. To print merchant's copy, press Enter. If not, press Cancel.

Note: You can reprint the latest transaction receipt if your terminal is from ver 2.5.9.c. Press ## (i.e. press # once, then press # one more time). In order to check your terminal version, please ON the terminal. The version number is displayed on the main screen. If you need to update your terminal, please do Terminal Update (click this link for the terminal update manual).

Repeat step 1 to 11 for next customer.
